Lyle E. Jacobson was born Nov. 19, 1924 to Leonard E. and Frances H. Reisner Jacobson. He died Apr. 23, 2012 and is buried in Mountain Vale Memorial Park, Canon City, CO.

Pvt. Jacobson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 179th Division, 45th Infantry and was wounded in action, captured by the German Army and was interred as a POW.
