Arthur Irving Felix was born Jan. 15, 1914 to Clarence Arthur and Ida Amelia Krumrey Felix. He died Apr. 28, 1943 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City, IA.

Arthur served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Chester (CA-27) and USS Houston (CA-30) and survived the sinking of the Houston and became a Japanese POW and died as a POW.

Vernon Wilfred “Vern” Feltz was born Mar. 9, 1924 to Norman and Beatrice Schellenberg Feltz. He died Jan. 12, 2013 and is buried in Sunnyside Memory Gardens, Charles City, IA.

Vernon served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard LCI(L)-222.

Kenneth Claude Ferch was born Apr. 6, 1914 to Ernest J. and Minnie Rose Schmidt Ferch. He died Oct. 23, 1961 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Waterloo, IA.

Pvt. Ferch served in World War II with the U.S. Army 78th Infantry Training Battalion.
