Eldon Lee Ethington was born Aug. 17, 1924 to Hazel Monroe and Chloe Nelson Ethington. He died June 29, 2004 and is buried in Rudd Evergreen Cemetery, Rudd, IA.

1st Lt. Ethington served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 4th Combat Cargo Group, flying the ‘hump' between India into China and Burma.
