Arthur William Beachler was born Sept. 11, 1915 to William Henry and Clara Skryme Beachler. He died Nov. 9, 1944 and is buried in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, NE. 

Arthur served with the U.S. Army in World War II. He was living in Charles City, IA prior to his entry into the armed services.

Lester Jewel Beaver was born Mar. 27, 1921 to Roy O. and Laura Alice Newman Beaver. He died June 6, 2008 and is buried in Sunnyside Memory Gardens, Charles City, IA.

Sgt. Beaver served in World War II with the U.S. Army in the Aleutian Islands.

1st Lt. Bennett served in World War II with the U.S. Army; he also served as a Major with the U.S. Air Force.

Donald Matthew Betts was born Feb. 13, 1920 to Bartholomew Wesley “Bert" and Norine Marie Buchanan Betts. He died Nov. 5, 1943 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and has a cenotaph in Calvary Cemetery, Charles City, IA.

Petty Officer Betts served in World War II with the U.S. Navy in the Guadalcanal area and was MIA/KIA on board ship while at sea and was awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal with Gold Star.
