Sgt. Babbitt served in World War II with the U.S. Army. He also served in Korea.

Thomas Robert Bach was born Aug. 17, 1928 to Frank and Alice Burgart Bach. He died July 24, 2002 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Charles City, IA.

Petty Officer Bach served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

James D. Bachtell was born Mar. 15, 1922 to Earl C. and Sarah A. Bachtell. He died Mar. 4, 1945 and is buried in Grand View Cemetery, Greeley, IA. He was initially buried in the USAF Cemetery Guam #2 at Agat, Guam and returned to the U.S. in 1948.

Cpl. Bachtell served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps and fought in Iowa Jima until wounded and evacuated to USN Base Hospital #18 on Guam where he died of his wounds.
