Donald Junior Abbott was born Apr. 14, 1926 to Donald Wesley and Aurilla Belle Comer Abbott. He died Aug. 14, 1992 and is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Greene, IA.

Petty Officer Abbott served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Laub (DD-613), USS Anthony (DD-515), and USS Ingersoll (DD-652).

Elroy Luther Ackley was born Jan. 24, 1905 to George Martin and Dora Mathilda Thieman Ackley. He died Nov. 2, 1974 and is buried in Westside Cemetery, Marble Rock, IA.

Petty Officer Ackley served in World War II with the U.S. Navy 6th Naval Construction Battalion Seabees.
