Wayne Marvin Dallenbach was born Dec. 8, 1926 to Cecil and Linda E. Niedert Dallenbach. He died Feb. 20, 2014 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Petty Officer Dallenbach served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

John B. Davies was born Sept. 19, 1909 to John C. and Eleanora Jane Carter Davies. He died Nov. 18, 1944 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial, Saint Avold, France. He was first buried in the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France. 

Pvt. Davies served with the U.S. Army378th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Battalion, 95th Infantry Division and was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Edwin Philip Davis was born May 14, 1915 to Silas Smith and Mabel Earl Davis. He died Feb. 28, 1946 and is buried in Grandview Cemetery, Fayette, IA.

Sgt. Davis served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Ralph Edward Dixon was born Dec. 12, 1911 to Beverly Wayne and Sarah Aquilla Dixon. He died Jan. 15, 1980 and is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Fayette, IA. 

Ralph served in World War II with the U.S. Army.

Albert Henry Droste was born Sept. 17, 1922 to Fred and Bertha Johanna Tomke Droste. He died Oct. 24, 1944 , was buried at sea and memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein, IA.

Petty Officer Droste served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Birmingham (CL-62) and was MIA/KIA aboard that ship in the Battle off Samar. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Warren Francis Duffy was born Nov. 13, 1917 to Leo Joseph and Anna Agnes Kane Duffy. He died Aug. 9, 1942 and is has a cenotaph in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Oran Township, Fayette County, IA. He is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Petty Officer Duffy served with the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
