Sgt. Melssen served in World War II with the U.S. Army 134th Infantry Regiment and was MIA/KIA in France in the service of his country.

Robert Nicholas Menadue was born Jan. 28, 1926 to Samuel and Veronica Menadue. He died June 15, 1945 and is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, San Diego, CA. He was initially buried in the 1st Marine Division Cemetery on Okinawa and returned to the U.S. in 1948.

Pvt. Menadue served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division and was KIA in combat operations on Okinawa.

Pvt. Mentz served in World War II with the U.S. Infantry 101st Airborne Division and died of wounds received in action in France.

Sgt. Meyer served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 360th Bomb Squadron, 303rd Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/KIA over the English Channel and awarded the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.
