Chief Petty Officer Koster served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Scorpion (SS-278) and was MIA/FOD/KIA when that vessel was lost at sea, cause unknown. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Joseph Edward Krocheski was born Sept. 6, 1910 to Frank and Margaret Steffen Krocheski. He died Dec. 1973.

Capt. Krocheski served in World War II with the U.S. Army as a chaplain with the 10th Armored Division and 351st Station Hospital, serving in New Guinea, Luzon and Japan. He was awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious achievement at Mindanao.
