Wade served in World War II with the U.S. Coast Guard.

William Paul “Skeet” Mellinger was born Mar. 15, 1908 to Valentine and Helen Hugg Mellinger. He died May 26, 1994 and is buried in Burlington Memorial Park, Burlington, IA.

William served in World War II with the U.S. Army 357th Infantry, 90th Division in France and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Joseph Charles Menke was born Jan. 30, 1925 to Herbert and Helen Marie Peterson Menke. He died Oct. 31, 2008 and is buried in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, AZ.

Sgt. Menke served in World War II with the U.S. Army.

Charles Wheeler Messenger was born Feb. 29, 1920 to Luther Glenn and Catherine Eliza Wheeler Messenger. He died Nov. 16, 1943.

Chief Petty Officer Messenger served aboard the USS Northampton (CA-26), Kingfisher Aviation Unit and was KIA as a result of a bomb explosion following an airplane crash while in the performance of his duties and in the service of his country.
