James Chester Scott was born Mar. 29, 1920 to Paul M. and Nettie Jane Scott. He died Mar. 1, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Petty Officer Scott served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Langley (CV-1) when it was bombed by enemy planes and sank in the open sea south of Java. He was MIA/FOD/KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

George Cicero Shelton was born Apr. 16, 1922 to Floyd R. and and Sylvia Lucille McDowell Shelton. He died Oct. 16, 1943 and is buried in Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.
Cpl. Shelton served in World War II with the U.S. Army 30th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division and was KIA in Italy and was awarded the Purple Heart.
