Harold Edwin Carlson was born Nov. 30, 1913 to Carl and Emma Sophia Henriette Lindemann Carlson. He died Nov. 25, 1944 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 5, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii and has a cenotaph in Klondike Cemetery, Beulah, FL.

Chief Petty Officer Carlson served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Liscome Bay (CVE-56) and was MIA/KIA when that vessel was sunk by a torpedo attack. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Harvey John Clefisch was born Dec. 11, 1917 to Fred and Louisa Christina Lewin Clefisch. He died Dec. 3, 1944 and is buried in Pioneer Rock Cemetery, Ceres, IA.

Pvt. Clefisch served in World War II with the U.S. Army Field Artillery and was KIA in Germany.

Kenneth August Clefisch was born June 20, 1921 to Fred and Louisa Christina Lewin Clefisch. He died Oct. 4 , 2001 and is buried in Pioneer Rock Cemetery, Ceres, IA.

Kenneth served in World War II with the U.S. Army 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment in France.

Gerald Marvin “Gary” Clinton was born Feb. 23, 1918 to Ernest Jerome and Grace Gorkow Clinton. He died Dec. 12, 1998 and is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Guttenberg, IA.

Sgt. Clefisch served in World War II with the U.S. Army.

Robert Connelly was born Apr. 22, 1922 to James E. and Cecelia A. Mader Connelly. He died Oct. 18, 2012 and is buried in Glendale Cemetery, LeClaire, IA.

Petty Officer Connelly served in World War II with the U.S. Navy with Flotillas 9, 18 and 5 and was a survivor of the D-Day landing in France.

Floyd Raymond Cook was born Apr. 25, 1928 to James and Della Beatrice McCarrell Cook. He died Mar. 5, 1949 and is buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, McGregor, IA.

Pvt. Cook served in World War II with the U.S. Army Transportation Corps.

Darrell James Cunningham was born Oct. 26, 1919 to James and Luella Hazel Roland Cunningham. He died Jan. 28, 1985 in San Bernardino, CA.

Sgt. Cunningham served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps with a bomb squadron in the European Theatre. He was awarded the Air Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters.
