Richard Dair Folsom was born May 6, 1920 to Shirley Dair and Lola Irene Levitt Folsom. He died Aug. 21, 2004 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Spencer, IA.
Richard served in World War II with the U.S. Naval Air Corps as a commanding officer of two different air-sea rescue vessels and then served in the South Pacific with the Naval Air Transport Service.

Harold Wayne Fraser was born Dec. 28, 1916 to Donald and Minnie Faust Fraser. He died Aug. 10, 1943 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery and Memorial, Manila, Philippines.
Petty Officer Fraser served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Quincy (CA-39) and was MIA/FOD/KIA when that ship was attacked by a large Japanese naval force during the Battle of Savo Island. The Quincy sustained many direct hits which left 370 men dead and 167 wounded. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Thomas Fries, Jr. was born Feb. 16, 1916 to Thomas (Sr.) and Anna Stuben Fries. He died May 26, 1997 and is buried in Saint Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Walnut Township, Palo Alto County, IA.
Thomas served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
