Dale Douglas Garris was born Dec. 13, 1925. He died June 16, 2011 and is buried in Bluff View Cemetery, Vermillion, SD.

Dale served in World War II with the U.S. Navy at the U.S. Naval Hospital, San Diego, CA; Harbor Island, Seattle, WA and Naval Air Base, Camp Kearney, CA.
