Andrew Woodworth Cobb was born May 17, 1914 to Charles C. and Katherine Miller Cobb. He died Mar. 31, 2000 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cherokee, IA.

Sgt. Cobb served in World War II with the U.S. Army 168th Infantry, 34th Division.

Charles Clarence Coon was born Aug. 11, 1926 to Clarence R. and Ruth M. Converse Coon. He died May 7, 2002 and is buried in Reynolds Cemetery, Reynolds, IL.

Lt. Coon served in World War II with the U.S. Army Infantry.

Stanley Corrington was born Nov. 15, 1916 to L. J. and Elizabeth L. “Elsie” Huber Corrington. He died Nov. 19, 1997 and is buried in Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA. 

2nd Lt. Corrington served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 567th Bomb Squadron, 389th Bomb Group. His B-24 crashed at Massbach, Germany with 6 crewmen KIA; 4 became POWs, including Stanley.

Floyd A. Courtright was born Dec. 13 1918 to Roy and Cora Bennett Courtright. He died Aug. 15, 2013 and is buried in Buena Vista Memorial Park, Storm Lake, IA.

Floyd served in World War II with the U.S. Army as a radio operator. He served in New Guinea and the southern Philippines where he earned a Bronze Service Arrowhead, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with 1 star and Good Conduct Medal.
