Joseph M. Zeiger was born Jan. 16, 1914 to John P. and Eva Schamber Zeiger. He died Mar. 27, 1942 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, East Coast Memorial, New York, NY,

Petty Officer Zeiger served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Atik (AK-101) when it was torpedoed about 300 miles of Norfolk. All hands were lost, either in the explosion when the ship sank or during a gale that hit the area shortly afterwards.

William Morrell Zeigler was born Aug. 22, 1906 to David Frederick and Bertha Ann Tripp Zeigler. He died Jan. 23, 1978 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, IA.

William served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
