James Ian McCloud was born Apr. 27, 1919 to Jesse and Merle Robeson McCloud. He died Sept. 15, 1944 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Lohrville, IA.

Pvt. McCloud served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps and died in the Pacific area, from wounds received in the line of duty and in service of his country.

Daryl Paul McGowan was born Apr. 6, 1921 to Paul David and Bernice Mabel Samuelson McGowan. He died June 26, 1944 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.

Sgt. McGowan served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 777th Bomb Squadron, 464th Bomb Group, Heavy and died in Austria while serving his country. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Purple Heart and Air Medal.

Joseph Edward McGowan was born Dec. 13, 1923 to Paul David and Bernice Samuelson McGowan. He died Sept. 4, 1963 and is buried in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, OR. Pvt. McGowan served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Robert Dean McGowan was born Nov. 4, 1926 to Paul David and Bernice Samuelson McGowan. He died Jan. 17, 1990 and is buried in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, OR. Petty Officer McGowan served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

William Francis McGowan was born Jan. 4, 1925 to Paul David and Bernice Samuelson McGowan. He died Feb. 28, 2014 and is buried in Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe, Hawaii. Petty Officer McGowan served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Charles Woodrow Miller was born Jan. 21, 1921 to Harold J. and Mary Miller. He died Apr. 1, 1944 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 4, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Lt. Miller served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps and died on New Hebrides Islands while serving his country.

William Fletcher “Bill” Moist was born June 27, 1918 to John Henry and Mabel Brown Moist. He died Aug. 2, 2017 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

1st Lt. Moist served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.

Newell D. Morgan was born May 3, 1919 to John Henry and Elizabeth P. Andre Morgan. He died Dec. 13, 1944 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Lohrville, IA.

Pvt. Morgan served in World War II with the U.S. Army 511th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 11th Airborne Division.

Flight Officer Moulds served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps.
