Earl R. George was born Jan. 29, 1920 to Everett M. and Lulu White George. He died May 5, 1945 and is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Pvt. George served with the U.S. Army 32nd Infantry in World War II.

Richard Wayne “Bud" Gorton was born Mar. 3, 1922 to Glen and Anna M. Gorton. He died Nov. 8, 1947 and is buried in Lake City Cemetery, Lake City, IA. Sgt. Gorton served with the U.S. Army 20th Field Artillery Battalion, 4th Division in World War II.

Donald LeVerne “Don” Green was born Aug. 4, 1921 to Walter R. and Iva Messenger Green. He died Aug. 20, 2005 and is buried in Lake City Cemetery, Lake City, IA.

Donald served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

Ambrose Patrick Griffin was born Sept. 9, 1907 to Patrick and Mary Gaffney Griffin. He died Nov. 20, 1944 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium. 

Sgt. Griffin served in World War II as a Squad Leader with the 175th Infantry Regiment, 1st Battalion, 29th Infantry Division. He died of wounds received in action and was awarded the Purple Heart.

George Gunard Gullgren was born Nov. 19, 1922 to Gunard Gust and Florence Lorene Wells Gullgren. He died July 28, 1944 and is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Manson, IA.

Cpl. Gullgren served in World War II with the U.S. Army 584th Artillery Anti-Aircraft Automatic Weapons Battalion.
