Albert Junior Lenz was born May 2, 1922 to Albert and Jennie E. Peper Lenz. He died Dec. 24, 2001 and is buried in Mountain View Lutheran Church Columbarium, Apache Junction, AZ. Albert served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 340th Bomb Squadron (H), 97th Bomb Group (H).

Lewis Claus Lenz was born May 21, 1927 to Albert and Jennie E. Peper Lenz. Lewis served in World War II with the U.S. Army.

Frank Allen Lessmeier was born Apr. 16, 1925 to Fred P. and Ruth Marie Sliefert Lessmeier. He died Mar. 14, 1945 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 3, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Petty Officer Lessmeier served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was MIA/KIA on Iwo Jima in the service of his country and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Lael Leroy “Bud” Lessmeier was born Feb. 4, 1927 to Fred P. and Ruth Marie Sliefert Lessmeier. He died Oct. 18, 2016 and is buried in Buena Vista Memorial Park Cemetery, Storm Lake, IA. Bud served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Donald LaVerne Lewis was born Aug. 11, 1919 to Oscar William and Carrie E. Sanborn Lewis. He died Oct. 22, 1956 and is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Sac City, IA.
