CDR Chellevold served with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Gunasson (DE.795) and at the U.S. Naval Receiving Station, Kubi Saki, Okinawa.

Robert Harry Chestnut was born Feb. 16, 1914 to Fred Fisher and Myrtle Alice McDermott Chestnut. He died Dec. 4, 1985 and is buried in Garden of Memories, Waterloo, IA. 

Robert served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Vercell M. Chestnut was born May 3, 1919 to Fred Fisher and Myrtle Alice McDermott Chestnut. He died June 21, 2011 and is buried in Harlington Cemetery, Waverly, IA. 

Vercell served in Germany with the U.S. Army in World War II. He was on the front line and earned several service medals, including the Bronze Star.

Rolf E. Christophersen was born Aug. 19, 1915 to Einar and Myrtle Birdine Peterson Christophersen. He died Mar. 7, 1999 and is buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire, WI. Rolf served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.
