John served in World War II with the U.S. Army 945th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion and 505th Military Police Battalion.

Frank Adrian Tehel was born May 8, 1924 to Frank A. and Nellie M. Frey Tehel. He died Sept. 16, 1977 and is buried in Postville Cemetery, Clayton County, IA.

Petty Officer Tehel served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was wounded when his arm was caught between his and another ship and severely mangled. He was awarded the Purple Heart, American theater ribbon, South Pacific ribbon with battle star, and the Victory ribbon.

Carl Fred Tepesch was born Aug. 2, 1919 to Frederick and Celia Brady Tepesch. He died July 17, 2005 and is buried in Louisburg Cemetery, Louisburg, KS.

1st Lt. Tepesch served in World War II with the U.S. Army Machine Gun Troop, 14th Cavalry, 289th Infantry and was injured while serving in the European Theater. He received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
