Roland William Madorin was born Sept. 21, 1923 to Morris and Phoebe Brandt Madorin. He died Dec. 18, 1989 in Humboldt County, CA.

Sgt. Madrid served in World War II with the U.S. Army 348th Engineer Battalion, 5th Brigade in the European Theater and was WIA during the French invasion. He was later stationed in Germany and Belgium.
