Harlan Oliver Hill was born Nov. 17, 1924 to Olaf J. and Mabel Hendrickson Hill. He died Nov. 29, 2001 and is buried in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.

Harlan served in World War Ii with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Menifee (APA-202).

Edwin Leonard Hilmer was born Feb. 11, 1916 to Albert H. and Ethel C. Flage Hilmer. He died Apr. 14, 1990 in San Diego, CA.

1st Sgt. Hilmer served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps in the Tarawa and Saipan invasions. He was WIA in the Gilbert Island engagement with the Japanese. He was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart.
