Eugene William “Pat” Thompson was born June 23, 1921 to Harry Harrison and Alma June Fleming Thompson. He died Jan. 12, 1919 and is buried in Greenfield Cemetery, Greenfield, IA. Eugene served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Roy Edward Thompson was born Dec. 1, 1921 to Glenn and Mildred Daisy McNelly Thompson. He died June 10, 1944 and is buried in Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.

Sgt. Thompson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 358th Infantry Regiment, 90th Infantry Division and was KIA in Normandy, France and awarded the Purple Heart.
