VALDER NORMAL SCHOOL.

Another Class Graduates from this Institution.

The annual commencement exercises of the Valder Normal School were held last Thursday evening at the Grand Opera House, The stage was beautifully decorated with plants, ferns and floral designs, and a goodly company was In attendance to listen to the orations of the graduates,

The class this year Is composed of five young ladles and four young men as follows.

Byrnes, John F
Jerviss, Elder M.
Kessey, Henry J.
Lynne, Milla H.
Nasheim, Sarah
Norby, Hannah M.
Olson, Dagny A
Prlnz, Alvina
Sellman, Edward

Were we asked to say which one of the selections was the best, we should hesitate. Each one possessed an excellence distinctive from the others, and the manner of delivery was in all cases clear, intelligent and an evidence of careful training. The orations were Interspersed with musical selections by the orchestra and a clarinet solo played by Mr. Martin Soukup, was rendered in his usual musically manner The address to the class by Miss Duffy was forceful and contained much they can take home to themselves and recall frequently with benefit, The presentation of the diplomas was made by Prof Oliver.

The Valder School in all its departments has reached a standard for good work of which its promoters and proprietors have every reason to feel proud. With them teaching has become a life work, and when the days of declining years comes upon them, it can be nothing less than a source of much gratification to look back and recall the number of young men and young women they have helped to launch successfully in life.
