LUTHER COLLEGE COMMENCEMENT.
The Parting of the Ways for the Members of the Class of 1900. Once every year a company of young men awake to a realization of the fact that Decorah has been their home for five or six years, that unconsciously they have been cultivating an affection for it and for one of its institutions which she loves to honor most; that close personal friendships have been formed which are about to be severed, doubtless some of them never to be renewed. And then as they think of it all a peculiar fooling of lonesomenes asserts itself, and they know one of the things which commencement day at Luther College means. Yesterday the class of 1900, numbering twenty-one, graduated at this institution In it sixteen towns in five states are represented as follows

We would not undertake to say that the class is superior of any that has gone before, for It would be an exceedingly broad statement. Luther's graduates have long held prominence for superiority as they developed in their chosen vocations, and to hope that these score and one of young men may follow in the footsteps of their predecessors is expressing a wish that they may attain to all that is noble, honorable and useful in life. The exercises, as usual, attracted a large audience, and were of the impressive order which characterize Luther commencements, The program was as follows:—
