LUTHER COLLEGE.
The graduating: exercises at Luther College began on Tuesday afternoon last when a splendid class of twelve graduated from the preparatory department. The following program was rendered.

Yesterday morning at 10:30 o’clock the commencement exercises of the collegiate department occured at the gymnasium.
The building was filled, from the platform to the doors, by fellow students of the graduates, their friends and others interested in the college.
There were an unusually large number of the alumni present to witness the exercises.The walls were swung with pictures of the professors and former classes,
while the class motto “Esse, non videri," wrought In flowers, shown from above the platform.

Last evening the college students were given a picnic supper which was participated In by a large company, the ladies of the 1st Lutheran church furnishing the supper.
