High School Commencement Exercises.
The commencement exercises of the Decorah High School will be held at the Grand opera house Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock and Friday evening at 8 o’clock. In the afternoon will occur the class day exercises consisting of the class prophecy by Signy Larson and Albert Vance, and the play "Cranford” with the following cast of characters.
MIss Matilda Jenkyus --------- Edna Auchmoody Mrs. Fitz Adams --------- Grace Christopher Mrs. Jameson --------- Laura McClaskey Mrs. Mary Smith --------- Mable Nelson Lady Gienmire --------- Dikka Reque Mrs.Forrester --------- Mabel Prastmark Martha --------- Flora Bergeson Miss Pole --------- Ruth Holway Peter --------- Roy Schenck
in the evening will be given the commencement address by Dr. George E. Vincent of the University of Chicago. He is one of the brightest and wittiest of speakers on the American platform. Admission to both entertainments 25cents, or 15 cents each. Children 15 cents to both or 10 cents to each. No reserved seats.
