Veterans files; historic properties files; prominent citizens/families files; subject files for local history; Winneshiek County township files;

Volunteer Opportunities

Throughout the year there are a variety of opportunities to assist with programs, special events, fundraising, as well as helping in the research library.  We will provide training for volunteers wishing to help in the library.

We are in need of volunteers to help with the booth we share with the Historical Society at the Winneshiek County Fair in July; help with setting up and taking down chairs or providing refreshments for our regular program meetings; for helping to plan special events like our annual Christmas Party.  We also need help with preparing the mailing of our newsletters.  Many hands make light work.
