FCPL is one of two recipients of the proceeds of a trust fund established to
procure Scandinavian materials. The library has many fine histories of Scandinavian countries, as well as histories of immigrants from Scandinavia to the US. Most unique is the selection of "bygdebok"-Norwegian family/farm histories; probably best in the state other than Vesterheim.
