Irwin H. Penning

S/Sgt. Penning, 28, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mino Penning, was killed in action in France, Dec. 15, 1944. His wife resides at Tulsa, Okla. He lived in this community [Thompson] until 1940 and entered the service in 1942. Memorial services were held here, Feb. 4, 1945.
