I am looking for information on Nellie Covel, the natural mother of Elsie Covel. Elsie was born on June 5, 1905 and was adopted 6 weeks later in Webster City, Webster County, Iowa. Any information on Nellie Covel will be appreciated.
My family is from Bonhill, Dumbart, Scotland and all the children were born there. We found them all on the parish records in Edinburgh. We were in Fort Dodge and found my grandparents marriage records and there citizenship applications.

Catherine b Nov 15, 1851 located her on 1880 SD census, but no other info.
Rebecca b. June 29, 1854 just before the family the family migrated to Canada.
I am searching for any members of the WOOLWORTH family who may have lived in, or are buried in the Fort Dodge area. I am trying to locate this information for a Woolworth researcher from Seattle who can not establish a link between his 4-Generation linage, and the main WOOLWORTH lineage, which currently dates back to the year 1330.

Hello! I am looking for any information on Joseph Adamson, Born April 27, 1857 near Swede Bend, Webster County, died May 10, 1940 in Boone or Boxholm, buried in Piolet Mound. He was one of 21 children (ouch), some of them could have been half-siblings. Three of his full siblings are Charles, Minnie and Andrew. Joseph's mother was Malinda/Melinda Lagergren and his father was Peter Anders Adamson, both born in Sweden. I would like to find the names of Joseph's siblings and more information on his parents, especially dates of death. I'm pretty certain they died in Iowa, but don't know where or when. I am looking for Lily HALLER born Lehigh February 29, 1884 tp Joseph (I think) HALLER and Mary THOMPSON MCCALL HALLER. She is my grandmothers 1/2 sister. I have Mary McCall and 5 children, (widowed 1879 in Albia area) on the 1880 census. She met and married this man later, she died in Boulder, Co and is buried in Fruita, Co. I am searching for information on my great-grandfather, Lewis Clyde BURKHOLDER. He was born 17 Sept 1879 in Richmond, Ia. His parents were Richard BURKHOLDER and Caroline ALTMAN (both were born somewhere in Iowa - possibly Fort Dodge). I know very little about these ancestors and would like to learn more. I have a photograph taken at the turn of the century. It shows a 2 story white house in the country with a very large family in front. Is there anyone who could accept ajpeg to try and identify the house? The back of the photo is labeled Ida HOLMBERG and Emma ANGSTROM at her home in Dayton Iowa.

He married Della (maiden name unknown) and they settled in Fort Dodge, Iowa. My great-grandfather dies in 1927 and my great-grandmother died in 1937. Both are buried in Fort Dodge.
