Looking for info on two different families. They are the families of my grandmother's parents. Her parents were Harriett (Hattie) DEMORRIS/DEMORIS and John MADDEN. Harriett's parents, Andrew Demorris and Catherine Mattice both died in Ft. Dodge. Andrew in 1930 and Catherine sometime before that. I would like a copy of her death certificate. I would be very interested in ANY info on Andrew as I have very little. John MADDEN's family is also very vague. His parents were John D. Madden (b. Ohio) and Sarah HItchcock. I don't know if they ended up in Iowa at all. John and Hattie divorced in 1925. He also divorced a Hannah Madden in 1928. At his death in 1928, he was married again to a Jessie LOHR. My Grandfather William James BRANNEY came to the US from Ireland in 1876. He lived in Lehigh Iowa sometime between August 1876 and 1893. After that he resided in Denver Colorado. I have been unable to locate any records in Webster County that list him as being there. He stated on his application for Passport in 1924 that he had lived in Lehigh, Iowa between the above listed years and am wondering how I might find him.
