Ingeborg Haraldsdatter Grov emigrated 1865 to probably Wisconsin. She met and
married John Rustebakke Nubson, possibly in Mitchell County, Iowa as he was
living there in the 1870 census with his brother Amund Nubson.
The couple then moved to Clay, Webster County, Iowa where John began farming.
Ingeborg and John had 3 children:
Oline Mathilde Nubson (1871-1914);
Henry Nicolai Nubson (b 1873) and
Martha Marie Nubson (1874-1877).
John Nubsen died in 1874, the same year as their youngest child, Martha was
born.
Found Ingeborg in the 1880, 1915 censuses living at Roland, Webster, Iowa,
widowed:
1880: Ingeborg Naubsan 35, Olive M. Naubsan 8, Henry N. Naubsan 7, Anna Olson
36.
1915: Ingeborg Nabson age 70.
Found in the 1920 census at Pleasant Valley, Webster, Iowa: Henry N Nubson 45,
Ingeborg Nubson 74.
Found in the 1925 census at Callender, Webster, Iowa: Henry N Rubson 52,
Ingeberg Rubson 79.
Ingeborg died 1925 at Webster County, Iowa and is buried at the Vinge Lutheran
Cemetery in Webster County, Iowa.
Ingeborg's Find a Grave Memorial #17086456. Husband, John Rustebakke Nubson's,
Find a Grave Memorial #17086458 and daughter Martha also buried at Vinge
Lutheran Cemetery.
Additional Comments:
Note: Ingeborg and her sister married Nubson brothers.
Censuses were transcribed as found without fixing spelling errors.
