FRANK FIDERLICK, WELL KNOWN RETIRED FARMER, DIES AT 95
Frank Fiderlick, 95, well-known farmer, died late Thursday afternoon at
Lutheran hospital where he had been a patient the past nine days.

The body is at the Wilder and Bruce funeral home where services will be held
tomorrow afternoon at 1:30.

Dr. William T. Paden, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, will conduct
the rites.

Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Mr. Fiderlick was born Feb. 2, 1852, in Czechoslovakia, a son of Mr. and Mrs.
Vencil Fiderlick.

As a child he came to the United States with his parents, who settled first
in Cleveland, Ohio, later moving to Cedar Rapids.

When he was 19 years of age, he came to Webster county and had lived in this
community, since that time.

He had farmed until his retirement in 1925. Mrs. Fiderlick died in 1928 and
for the past eight years, Mr. Fiderlick made his home with his daughter, Mrs.
Emma Urban in Elkhorn township.

Mrs. Fiderlick was the former Rose Frinek before their marriage in Cedar
Rapids, Jan. 28, 1880.

They became the parents of three sons and three daughters. Two sons, Frank
and Joseph, preceded their father in death.

Surviving are William Fiderlick of Sonora, Calif.; Mrs. Urban, rural route
one, Mrs. Henry Jensen of Fort Dodge, and Mrs. Ralph Carlson of Bode.

Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Sofie Fibikar of Fort Dodge.

There are 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Two brothers and two sisters are deceased.

DEATH OF MRS. FIDERLICK

Mrs. Rose Fiderlick, wife of Frank Fiderlick, died Friday afternoon at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Jensen, 440 north Twentieth Street,
following a lingering illness. She was sixty-six years old.

Besides her husband she is survived by five children. They are Frank, of
Chicago; William, of Tulsa Okla; Mrs. James Urban and Mrs. R. B. Carlson, of
Emmetsburg. Fifteen grandchildren, a brother, Joseph Frinek, of this city,
and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Vitek, of San Jose, Calif., also survive.

The body will be at the Modern Funeral Home until Sunday noon when it will be
taken to the Jensen home where it will remain until Monday morning at 10:30
when services will be held from the Presbyterian church. Dr. W. O. Harless
will have charge of the services and burial will be made in Oakland cemetery.
