MRS. EVA NOVAK RESIDENT OF COUNTY FOR 74 YEARS, DIES
Mrs. Eva Novak, 82
years old, a resident of Webster County for more than 74
years, died this morning
at her home, 527 Eleventh Avenue South, after a
short illness.
She is survived by
the following children; Albert Novak of Fort Dodge, Joseph
Novak of Chicago,
Ill., Mrs. Rose Young of Chicago, Ill., Bomir Novak of Fort
Dodge, Leo Novak of
Portland, Ore., Vincent Novak of Fort Dodge, Harry Novak
of Fort Dodge, Mrs.
Helen Thompson of Des Moines. Eight grandchildren and
three great grandchildren
survive as do the following brothers and sisters;
Matthew Faiferlick,
Mrs. Anna Edvenson, Mrs. Frank Hartnett, all of Fort
Dodge, and also a
number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Novak preceded
his wife in death 26 years ago. Two brothers and three
sisters also preceded
her in death.
Funeral services will
be held Monday morning at 9:00 at the Laufersweiler
Funeral Home and at
9:30 at Corpus Christi Church. Burial will be in Corpus
Christi Cemetery.

Funeral services for
Mrs. Eva Novak, 527 Eleventh avenue south, who died
Saturday, were held
Monday morning at 9:00 at the Laufersweiler Funeral Home
and at 9:30 at Corpus
Christi Church. The Rev. Alver W. Behrens, assistant
pastor, officiated
at the requiem high mass.
Pallbearers were Ben
Hartman, Richard Brandrup, Joseph Faiferlick, A. J.
Webster, John Hesser
and James Yetmar. Burial was in Corpus Christi Cemetery.
Mrs. James Yetmar and
Mrs. Ben Hartman arranged the many beautiful flowers.
Those from out of
the city who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Young and sons, Donald
and Norman and Joseph Novak, all of Chicago, Ill.; Mr.
and Mrs. T. M. Thompson
of Des Moines. A son, Leo Novak of Portland, Ore.,
was unable to attend.
