Millard McCullough was
born Jane. 26, 1895,
near Sewal, Iowa. Opal
Delight (Kizer)
was born Nov. 8, 1899 at Walker, Iowa.
After their marriage in 1916, they
lived in Harvard, Iowa, moving to
Allerton in the early twenties. Mr.
McCullough worked for the Rock Island
Railroad, retiring in 1960 with 42 years
of services.
In 1937 the family moved to
Melcher.
Millard passed away in 1972 and
Opal in 1962.
To this union eleven
children were born, six boys and five girls
and by these 28 grandchildren.
The children are: Ruth,
born Sept. 12, 1918 - married Harlan
Muse.
Margaret, born July 9, 1920 – married
Orlin Headrick, to this union 3 children:
Judy, Linda and Orlin, Jr.
Darlene, born April 21, 1922 – married
Archie Cowan and to this union 1 daughter,
Karen.
Millard, Jr., was born Jan. 12, 1924 –
married Darlene Smith and to this union three
children, Gregory, Randy and
LuAnn.
Norma, born Dec. 20, 1925 – married
Vance
Vrban and to this union 2 children, Nancy and
Vance.
Keith, born April 22, 1928 – married
Emily McIntyre and to this union 5
children, Deborah, Susan, Jill, Steven and
Danny.
Donald,
was born Dec. 23, 1930 – married
Janice Baker and to this union 4 children,
Brenda, Cheryl, Jamie and
Jennifer.
Betty, born Jan. 11, 1933 – married Ray
Sharpnack and to this union 6 children,
Connie, Ronald, Thomas, John, Jack, and
Michael.
Robert, born Oct. 22, 1937 – married
Barbara Nicholson and to this union 1 child,
Scott.
Jerry, born Feb. 20, 1941 – married
Linda
Mosher and to this union 3 children, Tod,
