This is the list of names as per the tombstones in the Richmond, IA Protestant Cemetery.
There are a few things that bear mentioning:
1. The names are in alphabetical order.
2. The bold names in parentheses are the maiden names of the women.
3. Ages are approximate.  Most tombstones had death dates. Some had actual birth dates.  However, many
had the ages of the people when they had died.  In those instances, we have tried to accurately go backwards
and find a birth date.  The tombstone inscriptions of the ages are included in the inscription column to provide
the details for corrections when needed.
4. There are several tombstones written in a different language that we could not identify ( just our lack of experience!)
They are legible, but they are not included in this listing.
5. Where appropriate, we indicated the burial sites surrounding others.  It might help with some confusion to know if
family members are buried next to each other or not.
