faces. The building in the background is the Masonic Building where
some of their meetings were held.
This has been a fun photo to research. We first came up with an approximate date by identifying the 1908 Haynes touring car in the photo. We now learn a reunion was held September 29-30, 1909. A ribbon has 8th, 19th and 25th Iowa Infantry on it.
Added for a comparison is a photo from a postcard taken in 1911 reprinted by the Washington Evening Journal for their Down Memory Lane series.
