Shupe Cemetery
SHUPE CEMETERY is located in the southeast corner of Section 18 of White Breast Township. To reach Shupe Cemetery, go one mile north of Lacona, Iowa, and turn on the gravel road and go two miles west.
Jacob J. Shupe, the grandson of an American Revolutionary War Soldier, came to Warren County, Iowa, from Fairfield, Ohio, around 1856. He gave land for the Shupe Cemetery, but did not record it at the Court House.
