Albert Hartman
Albert Hartman, in 1851 enlisted in the defense of his country,
and was assigned to Company E, Tenth Iowa Infantry, and served four
years. He participated in the battles of Champion Hills, Corinth,
Chattanooga and many others of less note. At the battle of Champion
Hills he was wounded and was unable to perform active duty six
months.
