need information on my gggrandfather Jacob Brown. He moved from Morgan Co, Ohio after 1860. He married a Elizabeth Sands 16 April 184 Children: Rebecca Brown born abt.1848 ,Ohio James Richardson Brown,born 10 November 1851 Morgan Co. Ohio, William H brown born abt. 1858 Morgan co , Ohio 1860 morgan Co.Ohio census shows Anne(Henry)as the wife .They moved to Iowa sometime after 1860. Are they buried in Union Co.Iowa Maybe around the Kent Iowa? Any info on any of these Brown's names would be appreciated.Thankyou

Hello Again, I'am interested in finding out the name or names of the elementary school in the Thayer, Jones Twp area. A Clara La Favre Smith was a teacher at this school in 1899. Clara's parents were Rev. Samuel La Favre and Margaret Whitson La Favre who lived in Creston, Iowa. Clara was my grandfather's, Floyd La Favre, first school teacher.

Looking for information on my ggrandparents James L. and Celestia (Grout) Beck. Lived in Creston, Iowa in 1870-1890. They had 3 children Victoria, Edella and Marcellus.migrated to Colorado abtt. 1890. James had a sister Victoria Beck who married Winslow Washington Bradford.
