Am interested in in and all information regarding two sisters, Fanny (Summers) Nairn and Winifred Mae Summers who were living in Shannon City, Union Co., IA, in February of 1935 when their brother, Charles Summers, died in Kingsley. GILBERT, Elta May-Born Oct. 30, 1889 near Lorinor, Union County. Elta May married John Perry McMillion Feb. 26, 1910 in Wenterset, Madlson Country. John Perry McMillion moved from Flatwood, Braxton County, WV. John died Jan. 11, 1936 and was burial in Ellston Cemetery. Elta May died August 08, 1963, in Iowa City, Johnson County. Elta May's Father was Ezra Ellsworth Gilbert and her Mother was Alpha Retta Campbe. John and Elta May are my Great Grandparents. My dad's name was Thomas E. McMillion. Caroline M. (BENTON) ODELL, b. 1833 Sandusky Co., OH, came to Creston before 1889, living near her sons William A. ODELL and Frank W. ODELL and their families. She also had a dau. Mary Eva ODELL who married James G. McCOY and resided in Creston. All had children and were still residing in Union Co. by 1900. Caroline's brother George D. BENTON, farmed in Lincoln twp. Many of these folks are buried in Graceland Cem. in Creston. Would love to here from any descendents of these families.
