Baker, Ella Mae -
Ella Mae Baker, daughter of Edward Russell Baker and Lena (Jackson) Baker, was born
in Sully County, South Dakota, on May 23, 1917 and left her earthly life on November 14,
2000 at the age of 83 years at the Lenox Care Center in Lenox, Iowa.
Ella Mae graduated from Clearfield High School and in 1943 graduated from St. Paul
Bible School. She spent 24 years as a missionary to the North American Indians in
Minnesota and Wisconsin, nine years of this time as a teacher in the Mokahum Indian
Bible School in Cass Lake, Minnesota. She was Dean of Women at the Bible School
when she sought a warmer climate for health reasons.
In 1968 Ella Mae moved to McAllen, Texas where she was the activity director at
the Alliance Nursing Home for eight years and later a worker in the Christian school
office at the Rio Grande Children Home for five years.
After retirement in 1982 she moved to the Alliance Retirement Center in Deland,
Florida. On August 12,1999 she and her sister Edna White moved from Florida to
the Lenox Care Center.
She is survived by her two sisters Edna White of the Lenox Care Center, Rhoda
Johnston of Diagonal, one brother Joyce Baker if Dauphin Island, Ala., and several
nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were sisters Edith Plybon of Red Bluff, Cal. and Veva Jean
Goocher of Dauphin Island, Ala., and brother Glenn Baker of Shreveport, La.
Services for Ella Mae were held Thursday, Nov. 16 at the Wilson-Watson &
Armstrong Funeral Home in Clearfield.
Services were conducted by Pastor Kendle Nichols. Burial was in the Clearfield
Cemetery in Clearfield.
Casket Bearers were, Edward Johnston, Scott Johnston, Curt Johnston, Trent
Johnston, Jerry Huffine, Todd Huffine and Lance Huffine.

Bare, Helen (Bette) -
Word had been received that Helen (Bette) Bare, daughter of Dr. D. L. and Ella Bare,
passed away in April of this year.
The Bares were active citizens of the Lenox community for many years. Dr. D. L. Bare
was a dentist in Lenox. Each of his child patients received a glass engraved with the
date and his signature, which became a great keepsake of his days in Lenox.
Helen (Bette) graduated from Lenox High School in 1938 and was a member of the
basketball team that was a State Tournament Runner-up in 1938, losing in the
championship game to West Bend.
Helen is survived by one sister, Iona (Peggy), who is now residing in Mohave Valley,
Ariz.

Beckett, Earl Eldon -
Funeral services for Earl Beckett age 52, of Lenox, who died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000
were held Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Creston
with Pastor Robert Sauser officiating.
Interment with military rites accorded by the Lenox American Legion Post 250 were
held in the North Fairview Cemetery in Lenox. Memorials can be given in his name.
Services were conducted by the Ritchie Funeral Home of Lenox.
Earl Eldon Beckett was born Feb. 18, 1948 on the family farm located in Taylor
County between Sharpsburg and Lenox, the son of Lester Beckett and Geneva Price
Beckett Curphey. Earl grew up in the Lenox area attending the Lenox Community
School.
Upon his graduation in 1966, he went into the United States Navy performing two
tours of duty in Vietnam. In 1970, after his discharge, he returned to the Lenox
area where he went to work for the Totes Division and helped Delbert Weeda with
his farming operation.
On Thanksgiving Day in 1974 he met Judy on a blind date while in Colorado visiting
friends. Earl told July, "I fell in love with your children before I fell in love with you."
They were married the following June in 1975, and Earl adopted Judy's children
Brenda and Robert. The family moved back to Lenox after the wedding and stayed
until Tote's closed in 1977.
Earl and Judy were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Alisha, in May of 1977.
Four months later they returned to Colorado, living there for 12 years. Earl missed
the closeness of the small community and they decided to return to Lenox where he
worked for Brown Bear Corporation until 1990 when he went to work for the
Crestland Co-op, Lenox Division, until 1996. He then returned to Brown Bear.
Earl was a member of the First Baptist Church in Creston and the Lenox American
Legion Post No. 250.
Earl loved being around children and enjoyed being the activity custodian at the
Lenox Community High School. He was well read and kept himself up-to-date on a
variety of subjects.
His faith in God was uppermost in his life. He loved his kids and really enjoyed
being a Grandpa. He had a special place in his heart for his dog Barkley and the
Denver Broncos. Wherever Earl could be found, Judy was close by, as they always
seemed to be looking after each other.
Earl is survived by his wife Judy of Lenox; his mother, Geneva Curphey and husband
Thurman of Sharpsburg; a son, Robert Beckett of Tempe, Ariz., and his daughters,
Iesha of Afton, and Jamie of Colorado; two daughters, Brenda Walker and husband
Ben and their children, Kelsie, Nicole and Hailey of Maryville, Mo.; Alisha Beckett and
finance Luke Swank of West Des Moines; a brother, David Beckett of Lenox; five
sisters, Leola Adams and husband Raleigh of Mt. Ayr; Imogene Mains of Creston;
Jane Sandburn and husband Earl of Arizona; Lois Lamb of Boone; and Janice Miller
and husband Mike of Creston; father-in-law, Oral W. Ball and wife Loretta of West
Plains, Mo.; along with many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Earl in death are his father, Lester Beckett and mother-in-law,
Betty Jo Ball.

Funeral services for Leonard Cordell, age 70 of Bedford were held Friday, Nov. 24 at the Ritchie Funeral Home
with Pastor Ted DeHass officiating.
Interment was held in the Athelstan Cemetery in Athelstan.

Leonard Motts Cordell was born March 12, 1930 in Athelstan, the son of John W. Cordell and Mary Juanita Rusco
Cordell. He grew up in the Athelstan area where he attended school and later entered the United States
Air Force. On June 21, 1955 he was united in marriage to Joyce Mutchler at the courthouse in Sidney.
Leonard was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed working with his hands. In 1971, he and Joyce moved to Bedford
where they continued to live until his death.
Leonard liked the outdoors going hunting and fishing when time allowed, especially when he was able to take his
grandchildren. He loved country music and he and Joyce went to many dances over the years. He enjoyed teasing and
joking with the grandkids, and he never missed a birthday for his children or grandchildren. Leonard never liked
good-bye's, he'd rather just say, "seeya."
Leonard is survived by his wife Joyce of Bedford; three daughters, Debbie Weaver and husband John of Blockton;
Cindy Moore of Bedford, and Kathy Schrodt and husband James of Bedford; a son Keith Cordell and wife Rusty of
Parkview, Missouri; a daughter-in-law, Cindra Elliott of Bosworth, Missouri; two brothers, Doyle Cordell and wife
Alberta of Bedford, and Kelly Cordell of Athelstan; two sisters, Geraldine Young and husband Henry of Athelstan
and Pauline Young of Athelstan; seventeen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Preceding Leonard in death are his parents, John and Juanita; two sons. Randy and Terry, at infancy; a brother,
Gen; and a sister, Colleen Dillon.

Eckler, Mildred Morley -
Mildred (Morley) Eckler, 94 years old, passed away in the Fallen Medical Complex in Baker, Montana, on Dec. 21, 2000 after a short illness.
Mildred was born the only child of William and Edith (Beadel) Morley on Dec. 7, 1906 in Lenox, Iowa. She grew up and attended schools in Lenox
and graduated from Lenox High School in 1925.
Mildred taught country schools in the Lenox area. On June 24, 1928 she married Ward Eckler in Madison, Wis. They resided and raised their family
on a farm west of Lenox. After the death of her husband in 1949, she moved into Lenox where she had made her home until she moved to Baker, Mont.,
in 1998 to be close to her daughter Mary Ellen Oberlander.
Mildred enjoyed gardening, clubs and church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Lenox and a member of the Christian Church
in Lenox.
Survivors include daughter, Mary Ellen Oberlander and her husband, Leonard of Baker; a granddaughter, Brenda Oeth and her husband, Joe of Farmington,
Minn.; great-grandson Jared Tyler Oeth; two step grandchildren, Connie and Angle Oeth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ward; a son, Billy; and a granddaughter, Charlotte Eckler.
A prayer service was held on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, at 5 p.m. in the Stevenson Funeral Home in Baker, Mont. A second prayer service was held on
Thursday, Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. in the Ritchie Funeral Home in Lenox.
A funeral service was held on Friday, Dec. 29, at 10 a.m. at the Ritchie Funeral Home in Lenox. Burial was in the West Fairview Cemetery in Lenox.

Eggert, Raymond W -
Raymond W. Eggert was born March 5, 1920 at Talmage, Nebraska to William & Esther (Shepard) Eggert and departed
this life November 17, 2000 at the Clearview Home in Mount Ayr, Iowa at the age of 80 years, 8 months, and 12 days.
Raymond, known as "Eggie" attended school at Unadilla, Neb. In May of 1942 he entered the U.S. Army and served his country
until October of 1945. Raymond was proud that he and both of his sons served in the military.
On Dec. 23, 1946 Raymond was united in marriage to Glenna Mae Frame in Lincoln, Neb. Two sons were born to this union,
William Lee and John Wesley. They made their home in Unadilla until February of 1959 when they moved to rural Clearfield.
Raymond enjoyed farming and was always happy being able to hitch the mules to the wagon and giving his grandchildren and
friends rides or entering it in one of the parades in the area towns.
He was a member of the Clearfield United Methodist Church, the Woodside Post #97 of the American Legion and was a
lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post #1797 Post Theodore J. Marten of Creston.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson Michael Eldon Eggert, one sister and two brothers.
Left to survive his memory are his wife, Glenna Eggert, of Clearfield; sons, William L. Eggert and John W. Eggert and special
friend Dorothy Lasley, all of Red Oak, Iowa; grandchildren, Kevin (wife Kim) Eggert, Darwin Eggert and his special friend Sherri
Brokaw, Andy Eggert, and Kristine (husband Nick) Jackson; 8 great grandchildren; one sister Darlene West of Kansas City,
Missouri; brothers, Roland (wife Patricia Eggert of Auburn, Neb., Harlan Eggert of Chanute, Kansas, and Wesley (wife Carol)
Eggert of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; and a half sister, Janette (husband Rex) Piesker of Richmond, Kansas; and a special aunt
Dorothy Tackett of Beaverton, Oregon, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Services were held in the United Methodist Church in Clearfield, Iowa on Monday, Nov. 20, 2000 at 11 a.m.
Officiating was Rev. Al Rusk.
Musicians were Patty Parrish, and Carol Ann Kinder, Casket bearers were Ray Dean Larsen, Lewis Larsen, Gerald Zoller, Doug
Boyer, Fred Siverly, Ronald Brown.
Raymond was laid to rest at the West Fairview Cemetery in Lenox. There were Military Graveside Rites by Woodside Post
# 97 American Legion.

Funeral services for Connie Sue Gordon, age 48, of Maryville, Mo., were held Dec. 30 at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
in Maryville, Mo. She passed away on Dec. 25, 2000, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, Mo., after a brief illness.
Graveside services were held on Dec. 30 at the Clearfield Cemetery in Clearfield.
Connie was the daughter of Dr. M.T. Gordon of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Bernard and Jean Slocum Allen of Prescott.
She is survived by three sisters, Cynthia Baker (husband Galen) of Clearfield, Kathy Brown (husband Gary) of Lenox, and Christie Brown
(husband Bill) of Lenox; half brother Jumar Gordon (wife Wendy) of Cheyenne; step-sister Abbie Allen of Grimes, Iowa; step-brothers Bernard D. Allen
of Excelsior Springs, Mo., and Lee Allen (wife Cheryl) of Sugar Land, Texas; 10 nieces and nephews; six great-nieces and nephews; special friend Pat
Cook; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, step-nieces, nephews and friends.
Connie was preceded in death by an infant sister; her maternal grandparents, Drs. James E. and Anna L. Slocum; and paternal grandparents Ed
and Ruth Gordon.
She was born Dec. 14, 1952 in Des Moines. She grew up in Baxter, Iowa, and Clearfield. She graduated from Clearfield High School in 1971.
She attended Graceland University in Lamoni and Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, where she graduated with a degree in
English. Later she enrolled in nursing school at Southwestern Community College in Creston, and attained her associate degree in nursing. She
began her nursing career at St. Francis Hospital in Maryville. She was a registered nurse at that hospital.
Connie's interests included music, equestrian events, biking, running, hiking, swimming and golf.
She was a member of the Cornelia Chapter OES of Clearfield and the RLDS Church in Maryville.
Memorials are to Nursing Services at St. Francis Hospital in Maryville and the RLDS Church in Maryville.

Johnson, Janette Lois Spring -
Janette Lois Johnson was born to Clyde and Winnie Spring on May 12, 1942 on a farm west of Corning, Iowa and passed away on
November 17, 2000, at the Adair County Memorial Hospital at the age of 58.
She attended Mt. Zion country school and finished her education at Prescott Community High School.
After graduation she worked for Mutual of Omaha in Nebraska. On December 3, 1961 she married Larry Johnson in Prescott,
Iowa. Their first home was in Sweetwater, Texas where Larry was stationed in the Air Force.
After he was discharged they lived in Corning, Iowa until they moved to the farm south of Richland. They lived in various
locations until they bought their current home east of Greenfield.
Over the years, Janette worked for Johnson Law Office, Production Credit Association, Adair Feed and Grain and was currently
employed at Crawford and Crawford in Adair, Iowa.
To this union three children were born, Raymond Eugene, Belinda Marie and Curtis Alan.
Janette was active in the Order of the Eastern Star. She served as Grand Representative to New Jersey, Worthy Matron numerous
times, as well as many other offices. She assisted in organizing a spaghetti supper for RAGBRA1.
She enjoyed bowling, camping, cooking (especially baking cinnamon rolls for friends and families), ceramics, sewing, quilting and
spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her son Curtis Alan; father Clyde Spring and father-in-law Thomas Johnson.
She is survived by her husband Larry of Greenfield; a son Raymond (wife, Teresa), of Junction City, Kansas; a daughter Belinda Lawson
(husband, Robert) of Jefferson; grandchildren Paige and Justine Lawson; stepgrandchildren, Johnathan Lawson, Dawn Borell and Jo Lynn
Williams; three great grandchildren, Mark, James and Alexis; mother Winnie Spring of Lenox, Iowa; sister Clytha Black (husband,
Kenneth), of Lenox; brothers Berdine (wife, Florence) of Palm Desert, California, Larry (wife, Diane) of Adel, Reldon (wife, Lometa) of
Las Vegas; mother-in-law Fannie Kapfer of Greenfield; brother-in-law Leland Johnson (wife Roberta) of Orient; sister-in-law Jo Ann

Johnson, Phillip -
Phillip Johnson, age 53, of Elliott, Iowa passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2000 at the Montgomery County Memorial
Hospital in Red Oak after an extended illness.
Phillip Johnson was born July 31, 1947 in Elliott, the son of Dan and Viola (Aim) Johnson. He has lived all of his life in the Elliott
area. Phil worked for Johnson Brothers Construction for many years and in 1979 started Phillip Johnson Construction Company.
He was united in marriage to Linda Peterson on August 9, 2000 at their home near Elliott, Iowa.
Phil was a member of the First Covenant Church and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks #1304. He was also a
former member of the Elliott Volunteer Fire Department and Elliott Businessmen's Association.
Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Dan Johnson on July 30, 1994, and an infant brother, Danny Johnson.
Survivors include his wife: Linda Johnson of Elliott, Iowa; Mother, Viola Johnson of Red Oak, Iowa; Son, Cody Johnson of
Red Oak, Iowa, 2 daughters, Callie (Pronounced Kay Lee) Colberg and her husband Matt of Gig Harbor, Washington and
Mindy Hale of Red Oak, Iowa; 2 step-daughters, Traci Schafroth and her husband David of Corning and Jodi Perrin and her
husband Scott of Corning, brother, Bob Johnson and his wife Margaret of Altoona, Iowa, sister Kathy Quinn and her husband
Kevin of Red Oak; 14 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2000 at the Nelson-Boylan Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Monty
Newton officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2000 at the Nelson-Boylan Funeral Chapel. Memorials are
suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services for Jodi Lynn Matheny, age 30, of Clarinda were held Monday, December 4, 2000 at Eickemeyer Funeral
Chapel with burial at the Clarinda Cemetery.

She was born April 12, 1970, and passed away on Dec. 1, 2000.
To say she loved to read was an understatement. She could read 4-5 books at the same time, plus the gossip sheets-magazines.
Her home was always open to those she knew.
She was married July 24, 1999 to, and is survived by, her husband Duane Matheny of Clarinda and three children: Danielle,
Andrea and Trace; her parents. Harry and Shirley Cunningham of Shenandoah; brothers Kent Cunningham and wife of Coin,
Jim Cunningham and wife of Farragut, David Ballain and wife of Florida, Bryan Cunningham of Shenandoah, Wally Cunningham
and wife of Shenandoah; her sisters, Barb Nelson of Shenandoah, LaDonna Cheeves and husband of Tennessee,
Marlin Fletcher and husband of Clarinda, Linda Hullman and husband of Shenandoah, Caryn Cunningham of Shenandoah, her
father-in-law John Matheny of Lenox, and brother-in-law Dennis and wife of Missouri, her aunts and uncles of Shenandoah,
along with several nieces and nephews and cousins, who are scattered throughout the United States.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Laura Cunningham and Donald and Blanche Ryan.

Owens, Paul R -
Paul R. Owens, 84, of Ipswich, died Tuesday, July 4, in the Beverly Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following his extended
illness. He was the husband of Anna M. (Thomas) Owens, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage.
Mr. Owens was born in Clearfield, Iowa, November 6, 1915, and was a graduate of Clearfield public schools. Corning
to Ipswich in 1946, he soon married Ann Thomas. Throughout the years they made their home at several Ipswich addresses,
including Summer Street, where they lived for more than 20 years.
As a young man, Mr. Owens worked for several years at the former Choate Dairy Farm in Essex and for several years at the
late Roland Comeau's Dairy Farm in Ipswich. Most recently he was employed at the Bostik Chemical Company in Middleton, from
which he retired in 1980.
Mr. Owens enjoyed home gardening and singing. He sang with the choir at the United Methodist Church in Ipswich,
where he was a longtime member, and with the Ipswich Men's Singing Club, which was affiliated with the New England Federation
of Men's Glee Clubs.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Owens is survived by four brothers, William Harvey, and Peter Harvey both of Iowa, Alden Owens
and Myron Owens, both of New Hampshire; sister, Hazel Knox, of Colorado; and three nephews, Michael Thomas, Peter Thomas,
and John Thomas all of Ipswich.
His funeral service will be held tomorrow morning, Friday, July 7, at 10 a.m. from the United Methodist Church in Ipswich,
followed by burial in the Highland Cemetery, Ipswich. Friends and family are respectfully welcomed Visiting hours are today,
Thursday, July 6, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich.

Funeral services for Anita Russell, age 84 of Bedford, who died Wednesday, December 6, 2000, in Des Moines were held
Saturday, December 9, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Bedford with Pastor Ruth Meliok officiating.
Interment was held in the Fairview Cemetery in Bedford. Memorials can be directed to the Bedford Ambulance Service.

Anita Yvonne Russell was born April 22, 1916, in Taylor County, Iowa, the second child of Emmett Lloyd Obsurn and Opal
Marie Hunter Osburn. She grew up attending country school in Clayton Township and graduated from the Bedford High
School in 1932. Anita went to work as a clerk at the Vogt Produce and Grocery Store and was later employed as a
secretary for Taylor County Corn-Hog Program that was a combined effort through the Farm Bureau and Taylor County
Extension Service.
Anita married H. K. Russell on December 27, 1935 in Hiawatha, Kansas. The couple later moved to the Russell farm in Jackson
Township where they farmed until 1972. Angus cattle played an important part in their farming career, "Russell's Angus Acres"
was well known. Anita enjoyed being an active farm wife and mother, together she and HK were active in their church and in community
affairs, taking part in Extension programs, Farm Bureau, 4-H, and the P.T.A. along with many other organizations. Anita was
always ready to help with the farm chores, she would drive a tractor, help in the fields, work in the large garden or tend to the
flock of chickens they had. She was proficient at canning, freezing the produce along with being a wonderful seamstress and
homemaker. She also enjoyed many crafts such as china painting and restoring antiques. HK and Anita moved to Bedford in 1973
and enjoyed wintering in Texas for many years. H.K. passed away in 1997.

As many of you know, Mother was very active in both her church and community, and to list them all here would take several
more pages. But she was particularly proud to be selected as the Iowa Master Farm Homemaker in 1969 and as a candidate
for Iowa Mother of the Year in 1972. She also enjoyed her participation in the Republican Party, the Angus Auxiliary, the
Shenandoah Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Order of Eastern Star.
Anita is survived by her four children, Opal Russell of Granger; Evelyn Fisher and husband Tom of Booneville; Kay Lucas and
husband Dr. Jim Lucas of Bedford; and Henry Russell and wife Marcia of Massena; two brothers and a sister, Paul Osburn and wife
Esther of Clinton; Louise Weir and husband Guy of Bedford; Lloyd Osburn and wife Joanne of Bedford; ten grandchildren,
Deanna, Sheryl, Jamie, Matthew, Shelly, Joseph, Tricia, Jennifer, Deborah and Robyn; and seventeen greatgrandchildren.
Preceding Anita is death are her husband, H.K. Russell in 1997; a son, Richard Karl Russell in 1945; her parents, Emmett and
Opal, a brother, Horace Osburn; and a grandson Daniel Lucas.

Mary Cordell Chandler South of Mesa, Arizona.
Mary is a sister to Carl Cordell, Cecil Cordell and Mabel Bycroft.

Wurster, Harvey Glen -
Funeral services for Harvey Wurster, age 81, of Lenox were held Monday, November 13, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. at the United
Presbyterian Church in Lenox with Pastor Tim Maxa officiating. Interment was held in the West Fairview Cemetery in Lenox.
Memorials can be directed to the Diabetes Association. Services were conducted by the Ritchie Funeral Home of Lenox.
Harvey Glen Wurster was born July 18, 1919 northeast of Lenox, the son of Harry Wurster and Rose Schaffer Wurster.
Harvey lived and worked all of his life on the family farm. In 1931, Harvey's father died, and even though Harvey was a good
student, and only 12 years old, he quit school to work on the farm.
Harvey kept up with the many changes and technological advances in farming over the years. He purchased a Jeep after
World War II and used it around the farm, replacing at least one horse. Harvey also got his pilot's license about this time and
learned how to fly. Harvey was well read, keeping up with current affairs. He also enjoyed reading about cars and farm machinery,
and often attended farm equipment shows. Harvey did not travel much; he liked staying close to him, but he did enjoy attending
the Iowa State Fair, often taking his nephews with him.
In later years, Harvey purchased a moped and would often venture to town and see what was going on, then head back home. He
was a long time member of the Prairie Star Presbyterian Church and also the Lenox United Presbyterian Church.
Harvey is survived by two nephews, Marvin Goldner and wife Kathy of Chesterfield, Missouri and Joe Goldner and wife Shirley
of Macks Creek, Missouri; four great-nephews, Daniel, Gerald and Kyle Goldner and Eric Milton; three great-nieces, Kim Anthes,
Cheryl Durand and Erin Milton; six great-great nephews and six great-great nieces.
Preceding Harvey in death are his parents Harry and Rose; a brother Howard; a sister Pearl; a nephew, H.D. Goldner and his
wife Shirley; a niece Evelyn Leffler and husband Larry; and an infant nephew.
