Beaman, Virgil -

Virgil Beaman Jr., 40, of LeMars was fatally burned and injured on October 10th when he came in contact with an electric wire carrying 7200 volts of electricity, the impact threw him 11 feet to the ground from the steel structure on which he was standing. Artificial respiration was administered immediately. He was taken to the Cherokee hospital at 11:15 a. m.  Death came to Virgil at 8:15 p.m. Oct 10, 1962.

He had worked for N. I. P. C. O. at LeMars for eight years.

He is survived by his wife, the former Helen Huber, and one son Steve, his parents, Mr and Mrs Virgil Beamon, Sr. of Greenfield. He was a brother-in-law of Darrel! L Huber and Duane Huber of Lenox; Dale Huber of Creston; Mrs Leonard Cracraft of Ridgeway, Mo.; Mrs Vernon Day of Gravity and Cecil Huber of Little Rock, Ark.

His mother and father-in-law  are Mr and Mrs Ernest Huber of Diagonal.

Military funeral services were held Oct 13, both at LeMars and Greenfield with burial in Greenfield cemetery.

Beemer, George W -

George W. Beemer, 93, died Saturday morning at Bedford. He had been a Taylor county resident since he was six years of age. He was a retired farmer. The funeral was Monday at Gravity.

Survivors include four sons, Herm of Lenox, Homer and Hudson of Gravity and Horace of Bedford; also 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; one sister, Senia Morrison of Silverton, Ore. His wife preceded in death.

Boylen, Ellen -

Ellen Boylen, 77, died Thursday, Jan 17 at the University hospital in Iowa City, where she had been for surgery. The funeral was Saturday at St. Patrick's

church, the Rev Fr Stephen Kane officiating. Burial was at Calvary cemetery at Corning.

Two daughters survive: also 1 sister, three brothers and 14 grandchildren.

Mrs. Florence Bruning of San Diego, Cal. died Sunday morning.  Her funeral was Tuesday at San Diego.  The family formerly lived about 9 miles northeast of Lenox.  Her husband, Thomas, preceded her in death.  She leaves 2 daughters, Mrs Ed (Pleasant) Benford and Mrs Henry (Opal) Hampton.

Caskey, A B -

A B Caskey of Mesa, Ariz., died suddenly there Monday.  He was a brother of Leo Caskey. His wife died several years ago. Leo and wife were planning to go to be with him awhile when they received word of his death. Burial will be in North Manchester, Ind., but arrangements were not complete Monday.

Estel, Charles Harrison (Harry) -

Harry Estel, 72, died Monday afternoon at the Rosary hospital in Corning.  He entered the hospital Friday evening and suffered a stroke Saturday night.  He was a former machinery dealer and garage mechanic. He had lived in Lenox most of his life except for a few years in Bedford. His wife Margaret died 3 years ago.

Survivors: His mother Mrs Clara Estel and a brother, Walter Estel, both of Mason City, and a nephew, Keith James of Lenox.

The body is at the Bender Funeral Home. Services will be Thursday at 2 p. m. at the Bender Funeral Home with Rev A J Clements officiating. Burial will be in

the Lenox cemetery.

Estel, Charles Harrison (Harry) -

Charles Harrison Estel, son of John and Clara Newburn Estel was born Jan 7, 1890 in Ringgold County, la., and departed this life Oct. 15, 1962 at the Rosary Hospital in Corning, la., at the age of 72 years, 9 months and 8 days.

As a young man he united with the Methodist church and remained a faithful member all his life.

On Feb 18, 1913 he was united in marriage to Margaret Browning. To this union was born two children, Paul Harrison and Clara Catherine, both of whom died in infancy. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Aug. 11, 1959.

Harry leaves to mourn his departure his mother, Clara Estel of Mason City; a brother Walter Estel of Mason City, la.; one niece Reva Marlow of Mason City; 3 nephews, Keith James of Lenox; Robert Estel of Clear Lake, la.; Ronald Estel of Austin, Texas. Also a host of very dear friends.

The funeral was Thursday, Oct 18 at Bender Funeral Home with interment in Lenox cemetery.

Gray, Harold -

Harold Gray, a retired farmer, 64, died Thursday at 4 p. m. at his home in Stanton. He was a former Lenox and Kent resident.

Funeral services were Sunday at Red Oak. Burial was in the Quincy cemetery near Corning.

Survivors include his wife, Clara, 2 daughters, 4 sons, and a number of grandchildren.

Haering, Samuel -

Sam Haering, 92, retired farmer, died Friday evening at his home here. Services were Monday, Feb. 11, at the Bender funeral home with Rev James Eddy

officiating. Burial was in the Fairview cemetery.

Samuel Haering, son of Samuel Sr. and Rosina Haering was born in Savannah, Ill., Nov. 30, 1870, and passed away at his home in Lenox Feb 8, 1963, at the age of 92 years, 2 months and 8 days. He had been in failing health the last five years.

At an early age he moved to Lenox with his parents. He was engaged in farming until 1918 when he moved to his present home.

On May 25, 1904, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Wurster of Lenox, and to this union four children were born.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Leona; his parents; one sister, Mary Boltinghouse and 2 half brothers and 3 half sisters.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth; two daughters, Pearl, (Mrs Bryan Eberle), Martha (Mrs. Keith Hamilton); one son, Herman Haering; a daughter-in-law, Thea; two sons-inlaw, Bryan and Keith; 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and 2 step grandchildren, one sister, Pauline Paymal of Lenox and a host of other relatives

and friends.

Music at the funeral was by Marcia Bender and Rolland Buxton. Pall bearers were Kenneth Eberle, Melvin Wurster, Harvey Wurster, Eugene Paymal, Douglas Jackson, Bill Eberle and Karl Eberle. Interment was in Fairview cemetery at Lenox.

Hargin, Edgar Emerson -

Edgar E Hargin, 81, retired farmer of Conway, died Tuesday at the hospital in Iowa City. He had been staying at the home of his niece, Mrs Melvin Wurster and husband at Mt Ayr.

A nephew Dale Cooper of Conway and other nieces and nephews survive.

Funeral services were Friday at the Bender Funeral Home here with Rev James Eddy officiating. Burial was in the Lenox cemetery.

Edgar Emerson Hargin was born Nov 29, 1880 in Holt Township Taylor county, la., and passed away Oct 23, 1962 at the age of 81 years, 10 months and 29 days. He was the son of Noble and Jessie Hargin.

Mt. Hargin was married to Clara Campbell near Conway.  They lived the major part of their married life in Taylor County.  He spent the reclining years of his life in Mt Ayr.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Clara, his father and mother, 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

Heimke, Blanche Olive Bowers -

Mrs Olive Heimke, 85 of Corning died at her home Tuesday morning. She was the mother of Mrs Fred Stillinger. She leaves three other children. Her husband preceded her in death.

Heimke, Blanche Olive Bowers -

Blanche Olive Bowers, the only daughter of M S and Emily Spry Bowers was born Sept 26, 1877 in Henry county, near Mt. Pleasant, la., and departed from this life at her home on Nov 6, 1962 at the age of 85 years, 1 month and 11 days.

With her parents and three brothers they moved to Adams county and settled on a farm east of Stringtown.

On Oct 7, 1896 she was united in marriage to Wm Heimke and to this union five children were born: a son, Carl William who died in infancy, Blanche of Corning; Grace Dory of Anamosa, la.; Jessie Stillinger of Kent, la., and Dale of Greeley, Colo.

Besides her children, survivors include her sons-in-law, Rex Dory and Fred Stillinger; daughter-in-law, Ruth Heimke, four grandchildren: Mary Ann Pullium, David and Ruthie Heimke and Edwin Stllinger.

In 1919 the family moved from the farm to Corning, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her husband July 8, 1940 and by her parents, 3 brothers and 1 grandchild.

She was a life long member of the Methodist church. She loved music and was organist for many years in the Methodist church near her home on the farm. She was a willing church worker as long as her health permitted and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Hewitt, Ella Little -

Mrs Ella Hewitt died at the Creston hospital Friday. She had been in a nursing home there for some time. Her husband, J. P. Hewitt, died about two years ago. They formerly lived on West Temple street in Lenox.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs Henry Bycroft of Brooks and Mrs Laird Ritchie of Corning, two sons, George of Kingsford, Tenn., and Don of Ontario, Calif.

The funeral was Sunday at Corning.

Hewitt, Ella Little -

The community was saddened Friday morning January 4, 1963 to learn of the death of Mrs Ella Hewitt who had lived for many years in the Fairview vicinity, later moving to Lenox.

At the time of her death she was living in Creston at the home of Mrs Ethel Richey. She passed away at the Greater Community Hospital early Friday morning

following a stroke on Thursday evening at the age of 87 years, six months and twenty days.

Ella Little Hewitt was born in Jasper township, Adams Co., Iowa, on June 16, 1875, the daughter of Garrett and Caroline Little. It was here she grew to womanhood and on Dec. 29, 1897 she was united in marriage at the home of her parents, to James P. Hewitt who preceded her in death; as did her three brothers: Willard, Jim and Van and one sister, Lillian Jackson.

Mrs Hewitt has always been a fine example of Christian woman hood, faithful to her church and its activities. She was a member of the Fairview Christian Church; after moving to Lenox she transferred her membership to the United Presbyterian

Church.

She is survived by six children: Carrie E. Parsons of Pasadena, Calif., Mary E. Richey of Corning, Wm. S. Hewitt of Corning, Gladys Bycroft of Brooks, Geo.

L. Hewitt of Kingsport, Tenn. and Donald P. Hewitt of Mt. Baldy, Calif., three daughters-in-law and two sons-in-law, 22 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren,

one brother George Little of Brooks.

Mrs Hewitt will always be remembered for her smile, sense of humor and cheerful disposition, her patience and understanding, her help and encouragement to those in need and her friendliness to everyone she came to know.

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 6, 1963 at 2 p.m. from the Roland Funeral Home in Corning with Rev. Brown Garlock officiating.  Music was by Mrs Brown Garlock and Mrs Dannie Schafer.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Hewitt, Lewis Roberts, Dale Cerven, Burton Richey, Wayne Johnson, and Ronald Bycroft. Interment was in the Prairie Rose cemetery.

Johnson, Harry Lloyd -

Harry Lloyd Johnson, son of John and Clara Chaney was born in Denver, Colo., June 22, 1902 and passed away Feb. 14, 1963 at Veterans Hospital in Omaha, at the age of 60 years, 7 months, and 23 days.

His mother passed away when he was a small boy. At the age of 7 he was adopted by Dr and Mrs Johnson of Des Moines.

He came to Clearfield in 1921 and made his home here since then with the exception of three years service in the United States Navy, 1942-1945. When he returned after the war he established a welding and repair shop which he operated until July of 1962 when illness required hospitalization.

When a small boy he was baptized in the Danish Lutheran Church in Des Moines.

Preceding him in death were his father and mother and two sisters. He is survived by his aunt, Mrs Minnie Chaney whom he called Mom, and by Mr and Mrs Herman Chaney and Hazel Hargin and family, all of Clearfield, Mr and Mrs Robert Chaney and family of Des Moines, Mr and Mrs Walter Chaney of Canoga. Park, Calif., Mrs Pauline Miller and daughter of Lenox, Mr and Mrs Art Higdon and son of Waukee, and other relatives and many other friends.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Herbert E. Phillips. Burial was in Clearfield cemetery.

Hubert (Fat) L. Larimer, 65, of Bedford, formerly of Lenox, died Friday afternoon at the Villisca nursing home after 2 years of illness. He was a painter.

He was born at Russell, la.

Funeral services were Sunday afternoon at the Bender Funeral Home here with Rev Colvin Caughey of Bedford officiating. Burial was in the Lenox cemetery.

Survivors include his widow Thelma of Bedfordi; 4 sons, Dean of Lenox; Harold of Bedford; Milton of Des Moines; J. D., in the Air Force in the Philippines and 10 grandchildren.

Manroe, John (Jack) William -

John (Jack) Manroe, 79, died Friday evening at his home here.

Survivors include 3 sisters, Mrs Jennie Consolver, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Mae Munson, Des Moines; Mrs. Doll Turman, Clarinda; 2 brothers, Fred of San Diego, Calif.; Ben at home and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services were Monday at 2 p.m. at the Bender Funeral Home with Rev David Shaeffer officiating. Burial was in the Lenox cemetery.

Obituary -

John William Manroe, son of Frank and Emma Manroe, was born March 17, 1883 and departed this life at his home on Feb 1, 1963 at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 15 days.

He was born in Lenox and spent his entire life here. He made his home with his brother Ben.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and one sister. He is survived by 3 sisters and two brothers. The sisters are Vada Turman of Clarinda; Mae Munson of Des Moines and Jennie Consolver of Cedar Rapids. The brothers are Fred Manroe of San Diego and Ben of the home. There are also a number of nieces and nephews besides many cousins and friends.

Mills, Jennie McCain -

Mrs Jay Henderson received word Monday of the sudden death of Mrs Hiram Mills in Nampa, Idaho. Mrs Mills was the former Jennie McCain and was a member of the Lenox high school graduating class of 1906.

Newby, Nora Agnes Dean Bartrem Sawyer LeCarter -

Mrs Nora Newby, 89, died Jan 8 at the Lenox Nursing home. Serviced were held at the Bender Funeral home Jan 10, the Rev James Eddy officiating. Burial was in the Lenox cemetery.

Nora Agnes Dean, daughter of William and Sarah Dean, was born at Columbus, Ind., March 10, 1873 and passed away at the Lenox Nursing Home Jan 8, 1963, at the age of 89 years, 9 months and 28 days. As a child she went with her parents to

Nebraska and later moved to Iowa.

In 1898 she was united in marriage to Samuel Bartrem. Five children were born to this union, three of whom died in infancy. A great part of her life was spent on a farm in Adams county.

Mr. Bartrem's death occurred in 1924.

In 1942 she moved to Idaho where she was united in marriage to Robert Newby.

In later years she returned to this vicinity making her home with her daughter, Ruth Trost of Lenox and her son Lloyd Bartrem of Omaha, both of whom survive.

Other survivors include a son-in-law, Joe Trost of Lenox; a brother, Charles Dean of Creston, and a sister Alice Johnson of Conway; twelve grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

As a young girl she united with the Presbyterian church in Lenox.

Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral included Charles Dean and his daughter, Mildred Dean of Creston, Lloyd Bartrem and his son-in-law and daughter, Mr and Mrs Wayne Womochil of Omaha.

Padgett, M L -

The funeral of M L Padgett of Ft Morgan, Colo., was held there Friday. He was about 85 years old and formerly lived west of Lenox. He was a brother-in-law of Mrs Flo Grimm of Sharpsburg and a brother of Mrs John Drain.

Pritchett, Wanda Smith -

Mrs Wanda Pritchett, 51, wife of Floyd Pritchett of Idaho Falls, Ore., was killed Friday morning Feb. 15, when her car skidded on an icy highway near Lost Lake, Ore. She was the only person in the car, and was on her way to visit her daughter Juanita, a student at Northwestern Christian college, Eugene, Ore.

Mrs Pritchett was the daughter of Lee and Jose Wood Smith and was born June 7, 1911 at Clearfield. She was married Nov. 17, 1931 to Floyd Pritchett. They moved to Idaho Falls in 1936.

Besides Juanita, another daughter survives, Mrs Dave Patterson, Bakersfield!, Calif., also 2 foster daughters, a brother and four sisters. She was an active member of the First Christian Church.

Roberts, Grace B Minnard -

Mrs Grace B Roberts, 91, of Stringtown, died at the Cochran nursing home at Creston Saturday. She had been ill for about three weeks.

Mrs Roberts had lived on a farm at Stringtown after her marriage in 1891 until 1908 when she moved to Creston. She lived there until about 2 to 3 years ago when she returned to Stringtown to be near her sister, Mrs Laura Smith.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday at the Keating and Beemer funeral home in Creston. Burial was in Graceland cemetery.

Grace A Minnard was born at Jerseyvile, Ill., Sept 25, 1871. She was the daughter of Curtis A and Ruth A Minnard. She was married at Jerseyville May 20, 1891 to

C B Roberts. He preceded her in death Dec 2, 1925.

They moved to a farm at Stringtown where they lived until moving to Creston in 1908. Their home was at 516 New York avenue.

Mrs Roberts was a member of the Methodist church.

She is survived by her sister, Mrs Laura Smith of the Stringtown community.

Roberts, Grace B Minnard -

Grace B Minnard, daughter of Curtis A and Ruth Adeline Minnard, was born Sept 25, 1871 at Jerseyville, Ill., and departed this life on Dec. 20, 1962, at the

age of 91 years, 3 months and 4 days.

On May 20, 1891, she was united in marriage to Charles B Roberts of New London, la. They lived in New London one year and in 1892, purchase d the farm home just east of Stringtown where they lived until 1908, at which time they moved to Creston.

When a young woman she joined the Methodist church at Wesley Chapel, later transferring her membership to the Methodist church in Creston, where for years she taught a Sunday School class. At the time of her death, she was a member of the Stringtown Community church and enjoyed attending the services and activities of the church as long as her health permitted.

In September, 1953, Mrs Roberts moved to a mobile home on the old home place near Stringtown, where she lived 3 years. Since that time she has been a resident of the Cochran Nursing Home in Creston.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Dec 2, 1925. She is survived by one sister, Mrs Laura Smith of Lenox, 3 nephews and 1 niece.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan 2, Rev Azel Smith officiating. Music was by Mrs Claud Hart, organist accompanist for Russell Henry who sang The Upper Gardens, and Beyond the Sunset. Casket bearers were Austin Brown, Harry Reese, Fred Shepherd, Fred Stillinger, Adle Speelman and Gene Brotherton. Burial was in Graceland cemetery.

Rogers, Hal -

Funeral services for Hal Rogers will be Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Coen's Home for Funerals, Creston, with burial in Graceland cemetery. The family will meet their friends at the Funeral home Wednesday evening.

Mr Rogers, 39, of Creston, formerly of Lenox, was found dead early Tuesday morning in a garage, at 1302 Maple Street, where he kept a car.  His body was found by his wife, Jean, about 4:30 a m.

He had told her that he was going to place anti-freeze in the car and she had noticed a light in the garage when she had gone by earlier in the night.

She went to the garage to look for him when she awakened and discovered he had not returned home.

A Des Moines pathologist who performed an autopsy, reported that Mr Rogers died of a coronary attack. He had been suffering from severe chest pains recently and had a medical history of high blood pressure.

When he was found, his body was slumped partly in the car, as though he had reached toward the ignition switch. The switch was turned off. Police officers said he had either reached into the car to start the motor or to turn it off after it had run.

The family lived in Lenox until 1955 and then moved to Creston. Hal had been fire chief there since 1957.

Besides his widow, he leaves four children: Ann, 17; Steven, 16; Joy, 7 and Tye 5; his parents, Mr and Mrs Orville Rogers, a brother Howard, all of Lenox; and a sister, Evelyn in California.

The family home is at 614 N. Maple St. Creston.

Thompson, C P -

C. P. Thompson, 58, of Roland, la., died of an apparent heart attack at his home Sunday night. He had not been ill.

Mr. Thompson served as school superintendent at Roland 12 years, retiring in 1960 to go into the egg producing business. Previous to his employment at Roland, he had been superintendent of the Milford consolidated school 2 years, and at one time was superintendent at Clearfield and at Conway.

His widow is the former Gladys Bush, daughter of Mrs Doris Bush of Lenox, sister of Mrs Norma Paymal and Orvin Bush.

Besides the widow, 3 sons survive, Dick in college, Larry in the service, and Danny at home; also 1 daughter, Karen, at home.

Walter, Ruth Belle Suman -

Mrs Belle Walter suffered a heart attack Thursday, Feb. 7 and passed away at her home here about 11 p. m. that day. She had been in poor health for some time. Services were Sunday, Feb. 10 at the Bender Funeral home, conducted by Rev. Albert Clements and Rev. David Shaeffer. Interment was in Fairview cemetery.

Ruth Belle Walter was born in Jackson County, Soldier, Kan., Aug 19,1881 and passed away on Feb 7, 1963 at the age of 81 years, 5 months and 19 days.

She was the daughter of Jacob and Mary Ann Suman, early pioneers in the settlement of Oklahoma as a state.

At the age of 11 years, she, with her family moved to Gushing, Okla., traveling to their new home by covered wagon. She attended Sunday school in a sod constructed building.

On Jan 6, 1898 she was joined in matrimony to John William Walter on her parent's farm a few miles from Gushing. A Baptist minister performed the

ceremony. As a bride she came to Iowa with her husband to a farm home six miles west of Lenox where she lived until March of 1910, when the family moved to Lenox where she resided until her death.

She was a member of the Methodist church, a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a fifty year member of the Ladies Fortnightly club.

She is survived by her 5 children: Orval C., Lenox; Arnold L., Quincy, Ill.; Harlan K., Moline, Ill.; Glena McClintock of Waverly, la., and Bernice Mills of Evanston, Ill.; six grandchildren, William and John McClintock, Sheryl McClintock Jorgenson, Richard Walter, Mary Jo Walter Hall and Dianne Walter; seventeen great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs C. (Nan) G. Holmstein of Arkansas City, Kan., and Mrs Wm (Mattie) Payne of Wichita, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Walter who passed away Feb 3, 1942, a brother Charles and a grandson, Robert McClintock.

Her whole life and every thought throughout her life was dedicated to her children and their welfare. She was an active participant in the life of her home, her church and the people around her. She was an extensive reader until the time of her death and spent a great deal of study on books of a Biblical nature and interpretations of the Bible.

Weller, Gertie May Piper -

Mrs Gertie Weller, 72, died Thursday at the Rosary hospital in Corning. The funeral services were Saturday at Bedford with Rev A J Clements officiating. Burial was in the Gravity cemetery.

Gertie May Piper, daughter of Benjamin and Sarah Piper, was born north of Clarinda Apr 4, 1890, and passed away at the Rosary Hospital in Corning Thursday, March 14, 1963 at the age of 72 years, 11 months and 10 days, after an illness of several months.

Most of her early life was spent in Page county, later on a farm west of Sharpsburg.

On Sept 21, 1919 she was wilted in marriage to Fred Weller.  In the year of 1911 they moved to a farm east of Conway where they lived until 1948, then moved to Lenox.

Mr Weller died Jan 9, 1958. She was the last member of her family. Surviving are several nieces and nephews and many friends.

She was a faithful member of the Methodist church having unified with that denomination in her early teens and attended church services until her health.

Young, Lynden M -

Lynden M. Young, 74, retired farmer and former resident of Lenox, died Wednesday morning  at the hospital in St. Joseph, Mo. He had lived in St. Joseph the past year.

Lynden M Young, son of Henry H and Jennie Yates Young, was born on a farm 7 miles northwest of Lenox, la., and passed away Feb 6 at the Missouri Methodist Hospital, at the age of 74 years, 3 months and 25 days.

He was left fatherless at an early age and was his mother's main help in keeping the home together for his sister and two brothers.

On June 17, 1914 he was united in marriage to Edith Haviland of Corning, la. They established their home on the same farm where Lynden had grown to manhood. To this union 3 daughters were born.

In 1932 they moved to the farm 6 miles southeast of Lenox which was his home until the time of his death.

January 16 he suffered a severe heart attack from which he never recovered.

He is survived by his 3 daughters, Iva Shawler, Lenox; Belma Hartman, St Joseph, Mo., and Leola Wurster, Kent, Wash. Also 4 grandchildren, Farene and Lynette Shawler, Janell Wurster and Terry Hartman. He leaves one brother, Robert Young of Omaha; 2 nephews and 1 niece.

He was preceded in death by his wife in March of 1947, his father and mother, sister Isabelle, brother Harold and a grandson, Larry Shawler.

Lynden was a devoted father and grandfather. He was a kind friend and neighbor who will be greatly missed.

Funeral services were held at the Bender funeral home Feb 8 at 1:30 p. m., conducted by Rev Herbert Phillips and Rev A J Clements. Music was furnished

by Rolland Buxton and Marcia Bender. Interment was in Walnut Grove cemetery, Corning. Pall bearers: George Jones, Addis Reed, Marion Davis, Bryan Eberle, Walter Wurster, Randall Wilson.
