Mrs. Blanchard Dies
Last Rites Held At Methodist Church, Burial in Hopkins Cemetery
Mrs. [Golda] Fontell Blanchard of Clearmont, Mo., died at a hospital in Maryville Monday, March 15, after an illness of six months. Funeral rites were held at the Methodist church in Hopkins on Thursday afternoon and burial was in the Hopkins cemetery. Rev. W. H. Hansford conducted the services.
Mrs. Blanchard was born near Clearmont and was forty-five years old. She had resided in the Hopkins vicinity since she was married.
She is survived by her husband, Loy Blanchard; three daughters, Mrs. Bernice Snoderly, and Mrs. Lucille Bailey, both of Kansas City, and Miss Mary Lou Blanchard of the home; her parents Mr. and Mrs. William Hoy of Clearmont; three brothers, John Hoy of Cheyenne, Wyo., Drexel Hoy of San Francisco, and Max Hoy of Clearmont; one sister, Mrs. Orlena Bever of Clearmont.

Mrs. Golda Blanchard Dies At Hospital Here
Mrs. Golda Fontell Blanchard, 45 years of age, of five and one-half miles northeast of Clearmont, die at 12:05 oÕclock this afternoon at the St. Francis hospital where she had been a patient four days.
She was born February 25, 1898, near Clearmont, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Hoy, and was married July 4, 1917, at St. Joseph, to Loy J. Blanchard. Mrs. Blanchard, who had been ill about six months, had resided at the present residence two years.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Bernice Snoderley and Mrs. Lucille Bailey, Kansas City; and Miss Mary Lou Blanchard, of the home; three brothers, John Hoy, Cheyenne, Wyo.; Max Hoy, Clearmont; Drexel Hoy, San Francisco, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Orlena Bever, Clearmont; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hoy, Clearmont; and one granddaughter, Joyce Ann Bailey.
Burial will be in the Hopkins cemetery, but other funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Blanchard Rites Thursday
Funeral services will be held at 2 oÕclock Thursday afternoon at the Methodist church in Hopkins for Mrs. Loy J. Blanchard of northeast of Clearmont, who died Monday. The pastor, Rev. W. H. Hansford, will officiate.

Mrs. Quinn Succumbs
Was Mother of Dr. C. W. Kirk, Last Rites At Maryville; Burial in Shearer Cemetery
Mrs. Flora [J. Hull Kirk] Quinn of Greeley, Colorado, who had resided here with her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. C. [harles] W. Kirk since in August 1942, died Friday morning at a hospital in Maryville where she had been ten days, following a heart attack.
Mrs. Quinn was born at Delaware, Ohio, and was 84. She came to Nodaway County when a child and the most of her life was spent in this county.
She is survived by two sons, Dr. Kirk, Hopkins and Col. Orlo Quinn of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Fred Center [Ora Quinn] of Woodland, Calif., all of whom were with her in her last illness.
Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at the First Baptist church in Maryville, conducted by Rev. R. E. Williams of Kansas City. Burial was in the Shearer cemetery.

Funeral services will be held at 2 oÕclock Sunday afternoon at the First Baptist Church of Maryville for Mrs. Florea [Flora] Quinn of Hopkins, who died yesterday. Rev. R. E. Williams of Kansas City will conduct the service. Burial will be in the Shearer cemetery in Page County, Ia.
