Obituary
Margaret
Sue Adams was born October 27,
1922, and departed this life December 6, 1922, aged 1 month and 9 days. She is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elbert R. [oland] Adams, and leaves to mourn their loss, both of her
parents and her little sister, Edith Pauline; all of her grandparents, and a host of other
relatives and friends.
The
funeral services were conducted from the Athelstan Baptist church by Challie E.
Graham, after which the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at the same
place.
This
little one was loaned to us for a little while to remind us that the kingdom of
heaven is made up of the innocent and pure, such as she. Jesus said,
"Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such
is the kingdom of heaven." Your dear one is with Christ in the Father's House,
where no harm can ever befall it, and where it will bloom in immortal beauty.
The
bereaved ones have the sympathy of their many friends. May they trust in God
and lean upon His sure promises, ever remembering that through His mercy and
goodness they can go to be with their darling child.

BEAUCHART—Saturday, September 22,1893, at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. W. H. Parker, Mrs. Catherine [Sitler] Beauchart [Bauchert], aged 71 years, 1 month and 17 days.
The
funeral services were held at the Christian church, Sunday, September 24, at 2
o'clock p. m., and were conducted by Rev. J. C. Myers and Rev. Wm. Cobb. The
attendance was large, the church being crowded to its utmost capacity, while
many were turned away, who lingered about the doors and windows. The interior
of the church was appropriately decorated many of the designs being emblematic
of the blameless life and character of the deceased. Grandma Beauchart [Bauchert] had lived a long and useful life, and if human sympathy can ever
avail to alleviate the pangs of sorrow and bereavement, her mourning children
must have felt that they were encircled with the heartfelt sympathy of their
friends.
Full
of years, she has passed away, leaving to those who survived her the priceless
heritage of an example as perfect and pure as is possible to the frailty of our
human nature.
Interment was made in
Bedford cemetery, a large part of the congregation at the church going thither
to observe the last sad rites.
[Note:
The last name is spelled Bauchert on her gravestone and that of her husband and
son.]
