Young died Monday morning at

Mr.
Young had been ill for many
months, and recently made a trip to Texas hoping to there regain his health.
But all proved futile; it seemed that the change of climate did him harm rather
than good, for when he returned it was evident that he had not long to live.
Monday
morning the end came. Peacefully, as a tired child going to sleep, Mr. Young closed his eyes and without a struggle passed
away to that bourne from whence no traveler e're returns; where sorrow,
sickness and partings are no more.
The

will be interred in the cemetery at that place.

Gone To Her Reward
Mrs.
Sarah Young died Monday at 10:30
a. m., at the home of her nephew, I.[saac] L. Rhoads, in Bedford, 86 years, 10 months and 24 days.
Sarah
Pulse was born in Highland
county, Mo [Ohio]. Here it was she grew to womanhood, and was married to J.
[ohn] W. [M.] Young. In the year
1880 with her husband she moved to Taylor County and settled on a farm in
Jackson Township. For ten years they resided there, when death came and claimed
her companion. The deceased then removed to Bedford and since that time has
made her home with her nephew, I. [saac] L. Rhoads.
At
the early age of 13 she united with the M. E. Church and all her life she was a
true and consistent member, during her earlier life always taking an active
interest in religious matters and attending church whenever possible.
Grandma
Young had long since passed the
milestone that marks the age allotted to mankind, four score and seven summers
and winters she has seen pass by, and at last, when death came, it found her
ready and willing to go. She apparently suffered from no disease, and the only
cause that can be assigned for her death is old age.
The funeral will be held
