[arron] Batchelder [Anastasia].  Friends will be received at Pumphrey's Bethesda-Chevy Case Funeral Home, 7557 Wisconsin Ave. Bethesda, Md., 3 to 5 and 7 p. m. Thursday.  Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 7500 Pearl St., Bethesda, Md., Friday, July 18 at 10 a. m.  Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Indian Missions.

Miriam Frances McGrath McCloud

School Librarian

Miriam Frances McGrath McCloud, 69, a former librarian at Madison Elementary School in Falls Church who had been a scriptwriter for Navy training films, died of pneumonia May 27 at Doctors Hospital of Northern Virginia.

Mrs. McCloud was born in Washington.  She graduated from Trinity High School here and from Marquette University in Milwaukee.

She began working for the Office of War Information in 1942 and later transferred to the Navy Department.  She left federal service about 1950 and returned to work in 1968 as the librarian at Madison Elementary School.  She retired from Madison in 1978.

Mrs. McCloud was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Falls Church.

Survivors include her husband, George J. [ohn] McCloud of Falls Church; five children, Peter L. McCloud of Charlottesville, Mary K. McCloud of Atlanta, John Patrick McCloud of Fayetteville, Ark., Anne Boyle of Denver and Maureen Roberts of Lottsburg, Va.; two brothers, Hugh J. [oseph] McGrath, Jr., of Arlington and Charles McGrath of Vienna; and five grandchildren.
