Frank Whitehead Dead

The death of Mr. Frank Whitehead occurred at the home of his mother, Mrs. WK Whitehead last Saturday evening about 7:30 o’clock. He had been in poor health for some time and did not appear to be much worse until just a short time before the end came. Following is an account of his life.

Paul Frances Whitehead, son of Mr. and Mrs. WK Whitehead was born in Washington County Tenn. May 4, 1906, and departed from this life Nov. 17, 1928, at the age of 22 years, 6 months and 3 days.

Frank as he was known, moved with his parents to Taylor County when a child of two years. Having grown to manhood in this vicinity he was beloved by all who knew him.

After the death of his father, April 22, 1924 Frank provided for his mother and younger brother until his health gave way about two years ago. During the two years of failing health he was a patient sufferer, never complaining of his lot. He was of a very kind and pleasant disposition, making friends of all with whom he met.

He leaves to mourn his departure his mother, Mrs. WK Whitehead, five brothers, U.S. Whitehead of Johnson City, Tenn., Loury Whitehead of New Market, Iowa, Tom Whitehead of Watson, Mo., Horace Whitehead of Omaha, Neb. and Lee Whitehead of New Market; two sisters, Cora Wiles of Portland, Ore., and Bertha Eden of Hepburn, Iowa, besides a large circle of friends. One sister Mrs. Nola Husky, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held in the Walker & Shum funeral chapel in New Market and burial was made in Memory cemetery.

Many friends join in extending sincere sympathy to the sorrowing ones in their hour of trouble.
